* Join us for a Bannock bake and tea, try some pemmican samples, watch the wonderful Beardy's dance troupe and there will also be fire starting.

June 21, 2010: Batoche National Historic site

Battlefords

Events occur around the Battlefords starting with:

* Pancake Breakfast on 12th Avenue, hosted by BTC.

* Other events include:

* A Mini Round Dance at the North Battleford Youth Centre

* Elders Speaking at the Lecture Theatre in the Library

* Kids Activities at the Battlefords Indian and Métis Friendship Centre

* An open stage at the library for music and entertainment

* To end the day there will be fireworks.

* 12 noon: Celebrations kick off with a pipe ceremony & prayer followed by various activities

* Will be wrapped up with a Traditional Feast around 5 p.m. and a Round Dance to immediately follow.
